This exhibition, opened by Cedomir Mirkovic, federal minister of international cooperation in culture and sport, consisted exclusively of the original archival materials of the Archives of Yugoslavia and contained two main thematic entities. The first part of the exhibition was devoted to the background history of establishment, professional development, life and work of the Archives of Yugoslavia themselves, since its establishment until the present days. The second part of the exhibition presented the history of the Yugoslav State in a broad spectrum of political, social, cultural trends and everyday life. |

Promotion of "Documents on the History of Yugoslavia -State Commission
for Investigating the Crimes of the Occupying Forces and Their Helpers
in World War II (vol III and IV)", compiled by Miodrag
Zecevic and Jovan P. Popovic
Numbers of documents published in these two books reveal the policy, scope and ways of genocide and crimes committed in Yugoslavia during the Second World War. Readers and researchers can consult a list of members of the occupying forces who were declared war criminals by the Yugoslav State Commission for determing the crimes of occupators and their collaborators. The authors as well compiled a list of members of the occupying units and civil authorities determined to be war criminals by the UN War Commission, and the list of persons suspected to have performed war crimes in the Yugoslav territory.
